What are words? | Week 1 of #NaNoWriMo2016

Guys, guys, guys…HALP?
I honestly don’t know why I chose to do this. I mean…50k in a month? Am I mad? YES. Yes, I am. So as I forgot to actually VLOG this week, I realise I’d have to do a written post about my progress so far. WHUUUUUT WHYYYY
CRIES
Okay, enough dramatics.
I’ve been pretty behind on my word count, but not as much as in previous years. I’m  holding up well. Here’s a break down:
Tuesday 1st November: I kinda cheated this day because I forgot to reset the word count on scrivener. *gasps* Yeah, so  I put into nano site I did 1200 words, which wasn’t THAT far off, to be honest.
Wednesday 2nd November: Ugh, I hate maths. Nano site doesn’t tell me (past the actual day) how many words I did specifically, and I forgot to write notes. I used a calculator (woo go me!) and deduced I wrote 1164 words this day. *party time*
Thursday 3rd November: Apparently I wrote 1159 words? Um…okay, if you insist Mr Calculator.
Friday 4th November: Seriously, I’m thinking I’m doing the maths wrong. *growls* Apparently I only wrote 1058 words this day. WHAT?
Saturday 5th November (*Guy Fawkes day* WOOOOOT! fireworks everywhere!!!): *calculates* ah yes, that’s better. I wrote 2240 words. I am the master of words this day! Watch me type….ROAR!
Sunday 6th November: sigh. 1269. I SWEAR I wrote more. I swear it. This adding and subtracting business is screwing with me. GRRRR!
Monday 7th November (THAT’S TODAY!!!): Haha, well that’s easy. 0words. I mean, I haven’t written any yet. I’ll guess..hmmm…I’ve written 5000 words today. 😛 What? You don’t believe I can do it? Pfft!
Just you wait.
*starts rapping Hamilton lyrics*
Oops, sorry.
See ya next week! xx Kat xx
p.s. if you’re doing NaNo, let me know your progress! I wanna know who I need to beat. Mwahahahaha

  1. Hey, you’re doing good to me. I have plenty of reading to do. I’ve been away for a few days and busy, so looking forward to a good sit down with a cuppa and a cake and reading ‘The Boy at the End of Peach Street’. Keep up the good work Kat.
    Amanda,
