He had held a secret that destroyed her world.

Everything she had known was no longer true.

Blaire couldn’t stop loving him but she knew she could never forgive him.
Now, she was back home and learning to live again. Moving on with life… until something happened to send her world spinning once again.
What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately?

You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out.

What can I say about this book? I was dying to get my hands on it! Took a few days to read because of… well life got in the way, but it was an amazing read.

This book was definitely a roller coaster ride. My emotions went up and down and back around and then was flipped upside down and completely changed! I was not expecting anything that had happened in this story. And the things that did happened… my heart broke a few times and was put back together by Rush. Was it even possible to love Rush more? I didn’t think so, until I read this whole book.

I will say that I loved everything about this book. For me, it lacked a tad bit of the… “hmph” I had expected it to have. I was really drawn in and blown away by the first book. I had expected the same from this. I still LOVED this book, but I had wished there was just a bit more… well, emotion. There was a lot of sex. LOTS of HOT DANGEROUS sex. I loved it, it was really… kinky, but I had expected far more “talking” or “i love you” type moments throughout the book. None the less. I still loved the book.

I will say that if there was no book after this book, I’d be really disappointed. I know the intention was to only have this be a two book series… but the ending… it just ENDED. It was a very sweet and loving and gentle ending, but I was like… that’s it?! There has be to more… an extra chapter I can’t find, maybe?

It was like I was left completing gasping and needing more pages. It was a strange feeling but I was, like, lost when I saw the words “The End” It was just… devastating.

Overall. If you loved the first one, you will love this one. I promise that. You will be left dying at the end, but remind yourself that Abbi has promised another book because this book was able to reach number one on Amazon 🙂 that will help you cope with the ending!

It’s hot, sexual, emotional, and heart breaking. Fantastic read. It was a great get away from real life for me. Read if you have read the first one!! Be prepared to ride the longest and wildest roller coaster ride of emotions of your life. 🙂 You will love every minute of it!

To want what you’re not supposed to have…

She is only nineteen.

She is his new stepfather’s daughter.

She is still naïve and innocent due to spending the last three years taking care of her sick mother.

But for twenty-four year old Rush Finlay, she is the only thing that has ever been off limits. His famous father’s guilt money, his mother’s desperation to win his love, and his charm are the three reasons he has never been told no.

Blaire Wynn left her small farmhouse in Alabama, after her mother passed away, to move in with her father and his new wife in their sprawling beach house along the Florida gulf coast. She isn’t prepared for the lifestyle change and she knows she’ll never fit into this world. Then there is her sexy stepbrother who her father leaves her with for the summer while he runs off to Paris with his wife. Rush is as spoiled as he is gorgeous. He is also getting under her skin. She knows he is anything but good for her and that he’ll never be faithful to anyone. He is jaded and has secrets Blaire knows she may never uncover but even knowing all of that…

Blaire just may have fallen too far.

This book was pretty incredible. Intensely fast, I read it in one day. It was a nice, SEXUAL love story 😉 not for the faint of heart. I mean, DIRTY SEX. Kay? Kay!

So, you learn about Blaire and stuff, about her past, why she is here, and everything like that. You really feel for the girl. I mean shoot, she ends up at a house with a GORGEOUS 24 year old ASSHOLE. What did you expect to happen? She was a sweet, completely innocent girl who just wanted to get back on her feet. She didn’t WANT to come, but she had no other choice. She was doing what was right for her. I am proud of her! She is 19, gorgeous, innocent, and carries a gun. She’s my favorite girl ever. Trucks and guns = HOT 🙂

Rush. What can I say about you? You are mean, a man-slut, and I can see how Blaire couldn’t resist you. He starts off, I mean from the first few moments you meet him, a jerk. I mean TRULY a jerk! I was like, no please tell me she falls in love with someone else. Don’t let it be him! And then you hear about his sex life, Blaire SEES his sex life. He is just all over the place. But then, he opens up… you see a sweet side. A side that he is trying to hide because he has BIG secrets. And when I say big secrets, I mean secrets that completely SHATTER YOUR HEART at the end.

I felt BROKEN when I found out the secret. I couldn’t believe what had happened. I understood why it was kept a secret, but man… that is a secret that can completely rip a person apart from the inside out. It was heart breaking. I had tears in my eyes. I wanted to run and hug Blaire and tell her everything was going to be okay. But she… she broke when she found out.

And literally RAN. DROVE OFF. The secret is that bad folks. The whole story is about how Rush doesn’t want to get close to Blaire because of this secret but he just can’t control himself. They both fall and fall HARD. But that secret, it could ruin everything. As a reader, I was waiting for the moment for it to all explode in my face and completely break my heart and it did. I’m slowly dying right now, as I type this review.

Overall, I’d say this book is definitely worth reading. It’s hot, intense, and down right tragic. Lucky for my future readers, there is a second book. I’m hoping *fingers crossed* the pieces get put back together and I can feel relieved. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book. READ! It’s worth it; adults only please!
